Jai Ho is the song that plays over the end credits of the 2008 film Slumdog Millionaire. It won the Academy Award for Best Song in 2009.
The song, which accompanies a Bollywood dance sequence in the film, is sung in Hindi and is interspersed with Spanish lyrics. On an Oprah interview, A.R. Rahman stated that 'Jai Ho' means 'May Victory be Yours'.
